Skin Care at Every Age
-
20's
At this age your skin is still smooth and elastic. Your highest priority should be to protect your skin in order to prevent or at least minimize problems later in life. Acne scarring and on-going acne flare-ups are common for many in this age group. Many people in their twenties also desire to get rid of unwanted hair without the hassle of shaving or tweezing.

30's
At this age, your “expression lines” may become deeper and more visible, especially around your eyes (crow’s feet) and the nasal-labial folds (the lines running from your nose to your mouth). The damaging effects of sun exposure may show up as dark spots that linger on your face and chest.

40's
At this age, existing lines and wrinkles deepen and spread. The skin along your jawline and neck will loosen and begin to sag. Your face may begin losing volume, and look more tired and less radiant. The same treatments used in your thirties should continue, and consider adding in skin tightening procedures.

50's
At this age, flaws and lines seem to appear at an accelerated pace. Because of the hormonal changes taking place in your body you may be experiencing gradual bone loss, redistribution of fat and decreasing skin elasticity. Existing lines and wrinkles deepen and spread.

60's & Beyond
In and beyond your 60’s, the highest priority is typically replenishing the skin of lost volume and elasticity. Wrinkles and sagging skin are now more prominent, and brown and sun spots may cover large areas of skin. Varicose veins and spider veins also become much more common and noticeable.
