The DiamondTome® wand is the original crystal free microdermabrasion device. With natural diamond chips embedded in the tip, this wand glides over your skin to clear away dirt, debris and dead skin cells, revealing a smoother and clearer complexion.

DiamondMD Microdermabrasion

DiamondMD Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, no-downtime procedure that uses mechanical exfoliation and vacuum to remove the upper dead, dull layer of the epidermis. The DiamondTome™ DiamondMD crystal free process accelerates the turnover of fresh, healthy new skin cells and stimulates collagen production. After just one treatment the skin is noticeably smoother and more radiant, however, a series of 6 spaced 1-2 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. Maintenance treatments are recommended at least 4 times per year, or once per season.

DiamondMD Hydro Plus

DiamondMD Hydro Plus combines the benefits of microdermabrasion followed by deep dermal infusion of a customized serum formulated to address specific skin concerns such as acne, dehydration and sun damage with no downtime.

What makes these procedures different than traditional microdermabrasion?
Traditional microdermabrasion treatments use tiny crystals – rather than diamonds – to remove the outer layer of skin. While these treatments were undeniably effective, they also had their drawbacks. For one, the crystals were highly abrasive and created inflammation and heat on the skin. If patients already suffered from inflammation, for example due to rosacea or acne, this approach could actually make their condition worse. In addition, the crystal-based method resulted in a bit of downtime, which isn’t ideal for busy men and women who have lives, careers and families to get back to.

The newest microdermabrasion treatments use diamonds to abrade the skin instead. They are superior to the crystal-based method in a number of ways:

• Enhanced results. Microdermabrasion with diamonds is gentle yet still delivers enhanced results, polishing the skin and clearing away dead cells.
• Customizable. The coarseness of the diamonds can be adjusted to offer a gentle or more aggressive treatment, depending on your sensitivity and skin condition.
• Gentle approach. Unlike microdermabrasion with crystals, the diamond tipped wand doesn’t cause heat or inflammation on the skin.
• No downtime. There’s no downtime associated with the DiamondTome® wand, with most patients only reporting minor redness shortly after their treatment.

Chemical Peels

A Chemical Peel is one of the most effective and least invasive ways to improve the skin’s appearance. Chemical Peels come in different strengths and are determined according to several factors including skin physiology and sun exposure. They can improve acne scarring, skin tone and texture, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, and the appearance of large pores.
The results of Chemical Peels are cumulative and maximum benefits are seen with a series of 3 or more. Maintenance peels can be done 4 times per year, or once per season. High quality home care products are recommended, and the use of a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher sunscreen is imperative for safe and unparalleled results.

Illuminize Peel®

The Illuminize Peel® is appropriate for all skin types. Visible peeling is not expected, however minor flaking 3-5 days post-peel is common. The Illuminize Peel® can be applied every 2 weeks until desired results are achieved.

Vitalize Peel®

The Vitalize Peel® is appropriate for most skin types. Skin may be tight until it starts to peel. Peeling will generally start between 48-72 hours after the treatment and last 2-5 days. The Vitalize Peel® can be applied every 3-4 weeks until desired results are achieved.

Rejuvenize Peel®

The Rejuvenize Peel® is recommended for Fitzpatrick Skin Types 1-IV. Skin may be tight before it starts to peel. Peeling will generally start between 48-72 hours after the procedure and can last 2-5 days. The Rejuvenize Peel® can be applied every 4-6 weeks until desired results are achieved.

Obagi® Blue Peel Radiance

Quick superficial salicylic acid-based facial chemical peel that exfoliates and helps improve overall complexion, and provides firmer, smoother, brighter-looking skin after just 1 use. A series of 4 to 6 peels provides best overall results.

What results can I expect?

Our patented DiamondTome® wands are designed to accomplish two goals. First, to improve general skin health, for an overall more rejuvenated appearance. Secondly, they target specific skin conditions including: sun damage, age spots, fine lines, acne scarring, blackheads and whiteheads, oily skin, and hyperpigmentation.

How many treatments will I need?

Many patients see a visible improvement after their very first treatment. However, for longer lasting and more significant changes, additional sessions will likely be recommended by our licensed esthetician.

What happens during the treatment?

Treatments are considered “lunch hour” procedures. They take about 25 to 45 minutes. You may appear slightly flushed and red in the treatment areas after your appointment, though these effects should disappear within half an hour. You’ll need to wear sunscreen and avoid direct sun exposure for several days to protect your skin, which will be more sensitive and susceptible to damage immediately following this procedure.

Can I return to normal activities after treatment?

You will be able to return to work and your normal day activities right away.
