Jody Bolton Smith, MD, Interventional Vascular Radiologist

Dr. Bolton Smith joined RDR and The Vein Center in July 2004 as a Diagnostic Radiologist and is certified by the American Board of Radiology. Her professional interest and expertise include breast imaging and procedures, peripheral angiography, DVT lysis, GU interventions and imaging. She has expertise in venous laser ablation and sclerotherapy for venous incompetence and embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome.

Kris Gross, CNP, Vascular Specialist

With 14 years of experience as a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Kris brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to patient care at The Vein Center. Her diverse background includes internal and family medicine, palliative care, pulmonology, and genetics, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of patient needs.

Kris is dedicated to treating each patient like family, emphasizing shared decision-making and prioritizing quality of life in every treatment plan. She believes that collaborative care leads to the best outcomes and strives to create a supportive environment for all patients.

Ashley Kast, PA-C, Vascular Specialist

Ashley grew up in Little Falls, MN. She attended Carthage College in Kenosha, WI where she majored in Biology and Environmental Science with a Chemistry minor. She attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin Madison where she received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and served as Class President. Following school, she moved back to MN and began work as a Physician Assistant. She has experience general surgery, emergency medicine/urgent care, family medicine, and pediatrics. What she loves most about medicine is the patients! She is passionate about helping people get, and stay, healthy and enjoys getting to know patients as well as their family.

Matthew joined The Vein Center in 2023 as a board certified Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining the team, Matthew worked as a nurse for over 11 years, gaining experience in adult and pediatric critical care & trauma, cardiology, neurology, mental health and surgical care.

Katie has been with The Vein Center since its beginning and assists the radiologists with varicose vein treatments including: Endovenous Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA), EVLT, VenaSeal™, Phlebectomy and Sclerotherapy, adding another level of comfort and care to our patients.

Nikki, RN

Nikki joined The Vein Center in 2019. She has clinical care experience in Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Family Practice.  Prior to earning her Registered Nurse degree from Saint Cloud Technical College, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Tori, Sonographer

Tori Fiecke graduated in 2016 with an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Sonography from the St. Cloud Technical and Community College, St Cloud, Minnesota. She completed her training at St Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota and is RVT certified.

Courtney, Sonographer

Courtney became a registered sonographer in 2019 and joined The Vein Center towards the end of that year. Courtney is a graduate of the St. Cloud Technical and Community College, St Cloud, Minnesota with an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Sonography. She brings to the clinic experience in both outpatient and inpatient ultrasound settings, and is RVT registered.

Courtney Brever, PA-C, Injection Specialist

Courtney is a healthcare professional with experience as a Certified Physician Assistant since 2014. She plays a key role in our medical spa with her high level of professionalism and expertise. She helps our patients enjoy the many wonderful benefits of cosmetic treatments available.

Michele Ailie, RN, Injection Specialist

Michele brings a high level of nursing skills to our medical spa. With surgical services experience since 2002, she provides our medical spa with expertise in technique and procedures. Her specialty is ensuring our patients are as comfortable as possible during injection procedures.

Katie Winkelman, RN

Katie has been a Registered Nurse since 2008, and has been certified in cosmetic injectables since 2010. Katie believes that cosmetic injectables are remarkable tools for enhancing our appearance, giving us a natural, refreshed and more youthful look. Her goal is to make her clients look as young as they feel, while making their treatments a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Kristi is a member of the Vein Center & MedSpa team and brings close to 20 years of Medical Spa experience to our clinic. Kristi excels in client and customer care with her upbeat personality and positive attitude.
