BOTOX® and Dermal Fillers are cosmetic treatments given through injections and used to reduce the signs of aging in our faces. Unlike some medical spas, all injections in our MedSpa are administered only by licensed medical professionals.
We have two, Certified Physician Assistants and one Registered Nurse on staff at the MedSpa in The Vein Center Laser Treatment & MedSpa. Courtney Brever and Angie Schuster are PA-C’s. A PA (or physician assistant) is a nationally certified and state-licensed medical professional who practices medicine and prescribes medications in partnership with doctors. Michele Ailie is our on-staff RN. A Registered Nurse is a nurse who holds a nursing diploma or associates nursing degree, has passed the NCLEX-RN exam administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, and has met all the other licensing requirements mandated by their state’s board of nursing. At the core of all registered nursing practice is the delivery of holistic, patient-focused care, according to the American Nurses Association.
In addition to these medical experts is our MedSpa Medical Director, Doctor Jennifer Harrington. Her list of accomplishments includes: Board Certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota, and Director of Plastic Surgery at North Memorial Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center.
