John A. Ness, MD

Medical Director of SkinFitNessMD and Plastic Surgeon

Dr. John Allan Ness is triple board certified in Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Raised in Cokato, MN he graduated from University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Ness served his Internship in General Surgery and his Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery Residency at Loyola University Medical Center of Chicago. He served as a Fellow in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Medical Center before he went on to complete his Plastic Surgery Residency at University of California, Davis, Medical Center in Sacramento, California. His interest in caring for children with facial differences led him to complete a Fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the Australian Craniofacial Institute in Adelaide, South Australia.

A private practitioner, Dr. Ness has established clinics in both Sartell and the Twin Cities as Ness Plastic Surgery, LLC. He provides a full range of services from the latest plastic surgery procedures to the most advanced nonsurgical treatment options.

He is uniquely qualified to serve as the medical director at SkinFitNessMD. A noted lecturer and teacher, Dr. Ness has spoken on a wide array of topics and is available for speaking or lectures by invitation. Dr. Ness has appeared on KARE11 and has been featured in Minnesota Medicine Magazine. He has received the Patient Choice Award in 2009 and 2010. He he has also been named one of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Maretta Johannes, CCE

Licensed Certified Medical Esthetician

Maretta Johannes is a licensed Certified Clinical Aesthetician with 15 years of experience in medical skin care procedures. She is also a Licensed Instructor, has a certification of completion in Lasers and Light Technologies and is certified in permanent cosmetics. Her specialty includes modern alternatives to skin correction, custom-made laser treatments and personalized designer permanent cosmetics. Maretta enjoys helping people improve their self-confidence by enhancing their best features.

Jessie Norton, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Jessie is a nationally boarded physician assistant since graduating from the Augsburg College physician assistant program in 2001.  In 2005, she found her niche and passion for cosmetic injectables while working in plastic surgery.  Her plastic surgery experience has given her an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, which allows for safe and effective results while ensuring patient comfort during treatments.  She has spent the past six years helping people look and feel more youthful with the use of Botox cosmetic and dermal fillers.  She tailors treatments specific to each individual.  She also provides on-going training and education to other health care practitioners in the aesthetic industry.  She is a Minnesota native and currently resides in the Twin Cities where she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and the outdoors.  She is a member of Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and is licensed through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
